The audiovisual installation ‘Welcome’, is an immersive projection measuring 3 meters high by 43 meters wide, covering 3 walls. The content presents the theme of the exhibitions and the purpose of the Museum, welcoming visitors as they enter the museum space.

The content produced for the Salão Nobre should also be mentioned; displayed on a transparent screen, it presents information on the historical large-scale painting “Independência ou Morte!” (Independence or Death!).

The multimedia features were developed to provide the best result in terms of accessibility to all audiences, and versions with LIBRAS, audio description, subtitles for the deaf and deafened, and English for foreign audiences were produced. Visitors can select the version they wish to watch.
