The Museu do Ipiranga built a new space in the expanded area specifically to house temporary exhibitions. The debut exhibition in this space is ‘Memories of Independence’.

The exhibit brings together over a hundred items related to the memory of the moment of political rupture between Brazil and Portugal and featured the celebrations in commemoration of Independence.
Estúdio Preto e Branco produced the 10 films that comprise the exhibition. All pieces were produced giving special attention to content accessibility by the various audiences that frequent the Museum.
