The museum bases its visitation on three pillars: emotion, history, and fun. It’s an unique learning museum.

Photos, video, audio and interactive activities are part of its enchanting formula.

Origins” – Our film tells a story that begins with Charles Miller, at the end of the XIX century, and follows football history to the beginnings of its professionalization and the acceptance of black athletes, in the 1920s. The saga of Brazilian football is regarded as one of Brazil’s major conquests, entwining stories like the stabilishing of the major clubs, player drafting and scenes from the everyday life from the end of the XIX century through the 1930s.

“Rite of Passage” – in this room, we can watch one of the most tragic and silent moments in the country’s recent history. In a dark corridor, a film shows the final agonizing moments of the final match between Brazil and Uruguay in the 1950 World Cup, creating a distressful feeling through the sound of a heartbeat. Brazil’s fateful defeat at the hands of Uruguay is brought to life as a true rite of passage.

“Body Game” – in this interactive piece, the visitors could attempt a free kick on a virtual field.

Also in this room there was a 3D multiplexed video starring Ronaldinho Gaucho, as the player presents his skill in both freestyle football and samba. Alongside him a virtual skeleton mimics his moves and increases the feeling of depth as both players present a show for the captivated audience.
