Estúdio Preto e Branco took active part in the content design and production of all audiovisual pieces in the museum. “History of Florianópolis”, the featured piece, is a large volumetric projection that occupies the largest room in the museum and tells the trajectory of the territory from the pre-Cabral period to the present day. When the film ends, the lights in the room turn on and the doors to the square open. The visitor is then invited to explore the archaeological collection placed in the glass furniture that supports the projection, and also to look at the view of the square, the place “where it all started”.
Other pieces, such as “Occupations of the Territory”, “Panorama of Florianópolis”, “Oral History”, “History of the Building”, “Curtain of Time”, “Contemporary Issues” and “Reception” were developed on interactive and accessible multimedia platforms.
