Based on the different disciplines: Geology, Paleonthology, Geography and Botany, the exhibit “Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Chapada do Araripe” intended to connect those fields of knowledge and present scientific data in all its complexity.

It presented its visitors with an account of the ages of Brazil’s land by opening the Earth’s memory, a treasure present in the geological layers.

The exhibit presented a global impression of the relationship between the earth, time, and life. For this end, it featured the incredible audiovisual installation “Time Line”, which explored the time between the Cretaceous and Recent Quarternary periods, using 2 LCD monitors mounted on a computer-synched mechanical track.
