The Cerrado: Uma Janela para o Planeta (Cerrado: a Window to the Planet) exhibit led the public into learning about this fascinating biome, present in 11 Brazilian states. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Science and Technology Museum of Brasilia and the University of Brasilia, gathered natural specimens, information and curiosities. The exhibit, accompanied by the educational program, intended to raise interest in the biome’s conservation, due to its current and continuous degradation and deforestation.

Two audiovisual pieces were developed for the exhibit: O Ciclo do Fogo (The Cycle of Fire) and Mapa do Cerrado (Map of Cerrado).
