Casa da Memória Pedro Pessoto Filho is a kind of museum that gathers, organizes, preserves and disseminates visual, sound, bibliographical and documentary records related to the memory of the city of Araras.
At first the visitor is invited to decipher the codes of memory. An environment with varied objects dialogues with films and photos that are in the collective subconscious and leads to the main motto “Knowing to Preserve”. In the module “Formation of the Territory”, a projection shows how the city was formed. At the end of the exhibition an interactive table with photos of architecture, culture, leisure, among others, gives the viewer the opportunity to choose photos and create his page of the album of memories.
