The São Paulo State Museum of Immigration inherits from the Immigrant Memorial all the history and preservation of memory from all the people who arrived in Brazil through the Immigrant Inn, as well as the relationship built over the years with the diverse representative communities in the city and state.

In its new museum project, the Museum of Immigration places greater emphasis on the meeting of multiple stories and origins, and connects the public to the memories of people who came from distant lands; the condition of their travels, how they adapted to new jobs, and how they contributed to the formation of what we now call São Paulo’s identity.

Estúdio Preto e Branco acted alongside the curators, developing and producing all the audiovisual installations. We also specified all the audiovisual equipment and executed the installation in the museum.
