The exhibition Collections of Brazil: history, culture and citizenship seeks to reflect on the economic, social and cultural history of Brazil, from Empire to contemporary reality, sharing the legacy and memory of the Banco do Brasil.
Estúdio Preto e Branco collaborated with the conception, creation, production and assembly of three audiovisual pieces:
CUBE OF TIME: The immersive audiovisual installation “Cube of Time” takes the visitor to the remote times of Brazil’s discovery, awakening the senses to a time where only time existed. To the sound of the Letter of Pero Vaz de Caminha, narrated by Paulo Autran, tulles arranged perpendicularly multiply the projected images bringing an abstract atmosphere: the woods, the smells, the sound of the seas and the current of the winds and rivers, icons of the imagination of our Territorial formation.
COMMUNITIES: This module presents testimonials of bank workers, important figures in this story.
CULTURE AND CITIZENSHIP: Banco do Brasil is a private bank with a public vocation that has been working in the cultural and social formation of Brazilians. A volumetric projection exposes the social and cultural responsibility of BB expressed in the numerous cultural, social and sports actions.
